The White House has released a fact sheet addressing addiction and the opioid epidemic.

While most Collaborative members are local and statewide funders, we stay abreast of policies at all levels in order to ensure members can partner, convene and make grants in ways that will have the most impact. As an example, this White House Fact Sheet discusses new funding and policy efforts to address the overdoes crisis. Our Collaborative’s role is to stay abreast of these opportunities with a lens toward how they may or may not advance equitable access to culturally and linguistically effective services and how philanthropy can help leverage and shape local efforts to best meet the needs of the communities they aim to serve.
